Support for IEIEJ Standard Protocol in BACnet

In addition to standard BACnet objects defined in the BACnet specification, GENESIS supports IEIEJ BACnet System Objects that comply to the Institute of Electrical Installation Engineers of Japan (IEIEJ) Standard Protocol based on BACnet specifications.

The IEIEJ Addendum to BACnet contains the following object types:

• Electric Demand Monitoring Object
• Generator Load Control Object
• Electric Demand Control Object

These object types and their properties are included in the Default Device template.

Using devices with IEIEJ BACnet system objects does not require any special configuration. Such devices should be added to GENESIS via network discovery together with other BACnet devices. Learn more
